Lace up the skates. Shove on those roller blades. Strap on some pads. It's time to
learn the game of hockey in all its many facets. With hockey emerging as a truly warm
weather sport, the Coyotes have developed several avenues to create new fans and new
players through hands-on participation with the following programs.
APS COYOTES COLLEGE
Throughout the year, Coyotes personnel hold hockey clinics and interactive fan events
at various schools, organizations and companies. If your group is interested in hosting

NHL BREAKOUT
The 2002 NHL BREAKOUT event is an Invitational Championship,to all past NHL BREAKOUT participants and new participants from across North America.
STREET COYOTES
The Phoenix Coyotes are pleased to provide a new street hockey program, Street Coyotes. This FREE program allows kids ages 6-16 to learn the basic rules and fundamentals of hockey in a safe environment through Valley YMCA's and Parks and Recreation programs. COYOTES APS POWER PLAY TOUR
Each summer, the Coyotes organization bring the "Coyotes College" educational program, interactive exhibits and the chance to meet Coyotes players/celebrities to fans all over Arizona with an nine-city bus tour (Glendale, Payson, Flagstaff, Prescott, Chandler, Lake Havasu City, Yuma, and Tucson). This summer, fans will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with Coyotes players Brian Savage, Drake Berehowsky, Shane Doan, and Daymond Langkow.

ANNUAL COOL COYOTES FIELD TRIP
The audience for this special Coyotes preseason game is made up entirely of kids, as
over 16,000 Valley students from the 4th, 5th and 6th grade pack the stands at America
West Arena for free during normal school hours. The day is unique in that it blends
education and sports to create an exciting learning experience. The first Cool Coyotes
Field Trip on Sept. 27, 1999 was the first of its kind in professional sports as 16,210
kids watched the Coyotes defeat San Jose 3-2.
