SUN DEVILS ENJOY SUCCESSFUL TOURNAMENT
The Arizona State University ice hockey team capped off another remarkable season with a third place finish at the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division III National Championships.
This years result is the Sun Devils best finish ever at the ACHA National Championships. Their highest showing, previous to this years tournament, was fifth place last season.

NHL A.S.S.I.S.T.
Applications for the 2004 NHL A.S.S.I.S.T. Grant program are now available. The grant awards selected recipients grants of up to $10,000 each, for a total of $100,000 that will be given by the NHL to qualifying hockey programs.
The NHL A.S.S.I.S.T. (The NHL Assists Skaters and Shooters Intent on Succeeding Together) grant program is designed to help youth hockey organizations worldwide defray the costs of equipment, ice time and travel expenses.

DYHA FIREBIRDS EARN SILVER
When the Phoenix Firebirds stepped off the plane in Michigan this week to participate in the Championships of the International Silver Stick Tournament the team of 11 and 12 year olds were in for a shock. It wasnt the hockey that shocked them - it was the eight degree weather that was totally unfamiliar to the team from Phoenix Arizona.
Having qualified for the International Championships by going undefeated in the Rocky Mountain Regional Championships in December in Westminster Colorado, the Firebirds were ready for their toughest challenge yet.Read More...

ADULT HOCKEY CLINIC AT GLENDALE ARENA

The Phoenix Coyotes hosted an adult hockey clinic for beginner and intermediate level players at the new Glendale Arena on Saturday, January 24.

YOUTH HOCKEY CLINIC AT GLENDALE ARENA

The Phoenix Coyotes will be hosting two youth hockey clinics for beginner and intermediate level players at the new Glendale Arena.
The clinics will teach the fundamental skills of stickhandling, passing, shooting, and positional play.
Since 1995, the development of hockey in Arizona has been on the increase and the story has been no different at Arizona State University. Over the past several years, the Arizona State University hockey club has been assembling a quality hockey program at both the division I and division III levels. Both teams have gone from non-contender to ranked opponents in the American Collegiate Hockey Association.
The division I team finished last season 12-19-1 tied for 19th in the final rankings with Robert Morris College. Read More...
