COYOTES INSIDER DEBUTS

WEEKLY 30-MINUTE SHOW DEVOTED ENTIRELY TO PHOENIX COYOTES

Continuing with its commitment to be the network of choice for the regional sports fan, Fox Sports Net Arizona debuts its fourth new program this Fall when Coyotes Insider hits the air on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at 6:30 p.m.

A 30-minute magazine show that airs every Tuesday night during the 2003-04 NHL season, Coyotes Insider plans to take viewers inside the Phoenix Coyotes hockey organization with all the latest news on the team, player profiles and game recaps. It is hosted by Todd Walsh & Brad Steinke.

Tuesday’s premiere will include a conversation with Coyotes General Manager Michael Barnett who discusses this year’s team and his expectations for the season. Also, the show gives viewers a updated look at the new arena in Glendale and examines the team’s new logo and colors, discussing how the changes came to be with the Coyotes Vice President of Marketing, Brett Rogers.

Coyotes Insider is scheduled to air on FSN AZ on Tuesday nights at 6:30 & 10 p.m., however the 6:30 airing may be pre-empted from time-to-time due to a live game or pre-game telecast. This new show is just one more Coyotes production that Fox Sports Net Arizona offers it viewers, as the network televises 40 games this season and the Coyotes Countdown pre-game show once again sets the stage for every home telecast on FSN AZ in 2003-04.

Additionally, Coyotes Insider follows on the heels of three other recent local programs to launch on Fox Sports Net Arizona this Fall. The network debuted the Wildcat Insider on Aug. 28, Sun Devil Insider on Sept. 3 and Friday Night Tailgate on Sept. 12.

The Coyotes kick off their season tonight on FSN AZ when they host the St. Louis Blues at America West Arena. Coyotes Countdown, hosted by Todd Walsh, starts the night’s coverage at 6:30 p.m. and the puck drops at 7 p.m. Curt Keilback and Charlie Simmer are back for their second consecutive season of announcing Coyotes hockey on Fox Sports Net Arizona.

Fox Sports Net Arizona continues to televise the most regional sports action in the state, airing approximately 1,200 hours of original local programming a year.
